Microsoft flow helps you work smarter by automating workflows across your apps and services. Flow is part of a powerful business platform<\/span><\/p>\n

You can do multiple things using Microsoft Flow:-<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Get notification<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Synchronize files<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Collect data<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Automate approvals<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Create multiple sub-site automatically<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Hit “http” service on demand<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. The main action words that you will see are “Get”, “List”, “Create”, “Edit”, “delete”, “Send”, “Translate” along with the service it pertains to.<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. You can add multiple actions to the workflow and reorder them by simply dragging them where you want them.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Flow Conditions: –<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    1. A condition allows the workflow to perform a task only when something is true.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Flow Triggers: –<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Triggers are the events that start a workflow when they occur.<\/span><\/li>\n
      2. Flow can be triggered from an event in any of the services it synchronizes with.<\/span><\/li>\n
      3. User can manually trigger based on user action using dedicated flow button and other apps.<\/span><\/li>\n
      4. Run flow on a schedule.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Below I have created an example to using flow for<\/span><\/p>\n

        “How to Create sub-sites automatically when inserting an item in list”<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

        Just check figures below.<\/span><\/p>\n

        1. I have created a list \u201cOffice\u201d and attached flow to the list. When an item is created in the list, Flow will create a new sub-site.
          \n<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          \n2. You have to choose template \u201cWhen an item is created\u201d. After choosing a template, you will see Site Address field. Please enter your site address in the Site address field, and choose a list name in the \u201cList Name\u201d field dropdown.<\/span><\/p>\n

          \n3.Then add Get Items panel to get new created item from list.<\/span><\/p>\n

          \n4. After getting the item we will use \u201cSend an HTTP request to SharePoint\u201d panel.<\/span><\/p>\n

          a)-Add site address in the site address field.<\/span><\/p>\n

          b)-Choose \u201cGet\u201d method in Method field.<\/span><\/p>\n

          c)- Add \u201c\/_api\/web\u201d in the URI. We are using this API to tell SharePoint to add a sub-site in the Site collection.<\/span><\/p>\n

          d)-Add header for post JSON request to HTTP.<\/span><\/p>\n
