6 months back, Google imposed a ban and delisted all websites with a co.cc domain name.<\/p>\n
Google originally de-listed these as it saw \u201ca very large fraction of sites\u201d on the sub domain to be \u201cspammy or of low-quality\u201d. The search engine felt the de-listing was warranted to block the entire sub domain from showing up on Google\u2019s Results.<\/p>\n
It is unknown what prompted the recent change. Whether it was intentional or simply a bug remains uncertain.<\/p>\n
Now that the results are back, perhaps you can check yourself to see how \u201cspammy\u201d or \u201clow quality\u201d co.cc websites really are or are not.<\/p>\n
