Abode Designs is a British-led, design-focused home and lifestyle brand offering a wide portfolio of taps, sinks, accessories, spares, and installation services. With multiple sub-brands operating across the kitchen and bathroom sector, the business required a simplified, future-proof digital ecosystem that could support long-term growth.

Building on the success of the original consolidation project (Phase 1), IDS Logic extended its partnership with Abode Designs to bring Pronteau — its specialist hot-water and filtered tap range – and ProBoil – its support, spares, and technical content hub – into a single Adobe Commerce (Magento) estate. This phase unified all customer journeys under one experience-led platform, replacing fragmented brand sites with a coherent and scalable digital presence.

The enhanced platform is powered by centralized PIM and CRM systems, enabling consistent product data, richer content experiences, and greater operational efficiency. With all brands now managed within a unified Adobe Commerce instance, Abode Designs benefits from faster editorial control, stronger product discovery, and a solid foundation for new commercial services, including subscriptions, installation bookings, and extended warranties.

The Challenge

    • Abode Designs needed to consolidate multiple brand estates into a single, scalable Adobe Commerce platform. The Phase 2 objective was to integrate the Pronteau and ProBoil websites into the primary Abode Designs site, creating one coherent customer journey across standard taps, multifunction taps, and support-driven content such as spares, installation guides, and technical documentation.
    • The legacy proprietary platform limited extensibility, restricted meaningful editorial control, and created operational overhead. Maintaining separate sites resulted in duplicated work, fragmented product data, and disconnected customer records. ProBoil also contained a significant volume of rich technical content – manuals, videos, and spec sheets – that needed to surface at the product level within the new combined site.
    • Abode required a future-ready digital ecosystem where product data could be published automatically from the PIM, updated in batches, and managed centrally. They also wanted to introduce new commercial models, including filter subscriptions, installation services, and extended warranty workflows – all supported by a single, powerful Adobe Commerce instance with improved editorial control via Page Builder.

Solutions Delivered

IDS Logic delivered a strategic extension of the Phase 1 architecture, focusing on the following key areas:

  • Multi-Brand Consolidation: Pronteau’s specialist tap range and ProBoil’s support and spares content were successfully migrated into the primary Abode Designs Adobe Commerce instance. This reduced operational complexity while preserving unique brand identities through tailored UI patterns within a unified design system.
  • Advanced PIM Integration: IDS Logic enhanced the existing PIM (Pimberly) integration so Adobe Commerce could fully consume catalog data, including product attributes, pricing, imagery, documents, and technical files. This enabled single-source catalog ownership, automated publishing, and batch updates at scale.
  • Editorial-Led Premium UX: For Pronteau, IDS Logic introduced a style-led discovery experience. Customers can now filter by function, explore curated product collections, and navigate rich product stories instead of relying solely on attribute-driven listings.
  • New Revenue & Service Models: The platform now supports filter refill subscriptions, warranty registration workflows, and installation and service booking journeys directly within Adobe Commerce.
  • Content Migration & Enrichment: ProBoil’s extensive library of manuals, videos, and installation guides was restructured and surfaced directly at the product level, improving usability and post-purchase support.
  • Page Builder Empowerment: Flexible Page Builder components were implemented, enabling the Abode team to create campaign pages, product landing pages, and support content without developer dependency.
  • Analytics & Merchant Feed Optimization: IDS Logic rationalized GA4 tagging, simplified Google Merchant feeds, and streamlined reporting to create one consistent measurement framework across all brands.
  • Scalable Future-Ready Architecture: The unified Adobe Commerce, PIM, and CRM ecosystem now provides a centralized and scalable foundation for future brand expansion, services, and product growth.
